Kidnapping Incident Involving Firearm in Arkansas
Three men from Arkansas, including a University employee, have been charged with kidnapping an 18-year-old at gunpoint and forcing him to play Russian roulette. The victim reported the incident to the Sherwood Police on September 21, claiming that he was threatened with a gun by Robert Ellerd, 54, and siblings Jackson and Charlie Homan, aged 23 and 19, respectively. Initially abducted from a party, the victim was taken to a residence in North Little Rock, where he was bound and coerced into playing the deadly game. The assailants demanded he end his relationship and leave the area, threatening harm to him and his family if he did not comply. After the ordeal, they released him at a local high school. Police later verified the suspects' identities through surveillance footage and executed a search warrant, recovering firearms and other evidence from the location. All three men face serious charges, including aggravated robbery and kidnapping, and are currently held in jail on a $50,000 bond each.
